Tameny is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including: your name and email address when you register; medical documents you upload (images and PDF files); optional family member profiles you create; and support messages you send us. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited and features used, to improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the Tameny service; generate AI-assisted summaries of your uploaded documents; communicate with you about your account; and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data or medical documents to any third party.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (hosting), both of which maintain industry-standard security practices. Uploaded documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are not publicly accessible.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: OpenAI (to generate document summaries — your documents are sent to OpenAI solely for this purpose and are not used to train their models under our enterprise agreement); Supabase (database and file storage); Vercel (web hosting); and payment processors (Stripe, LemonSqueezy, or PayTabs depending on your region — they handle payment data directly and we do not store your card details).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your uploaded documents directly from the app. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at support@tameny.app and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a document, it is permanently removed from our systems. When you close your account, all your data is deleted within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice.
